The berth plan

Each ship books quay space before it docks, and the harbour master trusts the booking. How much should a ship book?

Twenty-four ships need a berth at three quays of 4 cores each. Every ship books quay space before it docks, and the harbour master places ships by the booking alone. Then the tide comes in and every ship works at 500m. The panels show the squeeze, the ships left at anchor, and booked quay sitting idle.

Board: Under the Hood →

The three panels stack on a narrow screen. The dial stays above them, and the swept table scrolls sideways.

try this Drag Quay booked per ship from 100m to 1000m and watch Squeezed at the tide reach zero.
