Design a parking lot (the first whole round)

Design a Parking Lot

The questions and the classes they land on, the two rules for picking a spot, a lot that says no, and the follow-up.

Before you start. You need two lessons and four small words. A class is a blueprint for objects. A field is one piece of data an object holds. An object’s state is the values its fields hold right now. Nouns and verbs (from requirements to classes) showed how to circle the nouns and verbs of a requirement, keep the nouns with their own identity and state (the entities), and give every rule to the one class that has the facts. Swap the rule, keep the class (Strategy and Factory) showed a strategy: one job with several interchangeable rules, each in its own class, all answering the same method call, so the lot can be handed a different one. This lesson runs both as one interview round.
