Wishing Is Not Planning (goals that get done)

The day as a battery that rises and falls. That board ends on goals sized to the energy you actually have. This lesson is about the step before sizing: choosing which goal gets the battery at all, and writing a plan that starts itself.
Before you start. Habits & Behaviour Change (the loop that runs you) showed that a habit runs on a cue: something in the world that sets off the routine without a decision. The Task You Keep Not Starting (procrastination) showed that a distant reward pulls weakly, so a task you only intend to do loses to whatever pays now. This lesson joins the two: a plan is a cue you write in advance.
