Argue It Yourself

The board where an argument was split into its shape and its premises. This lesson takes that split and hands you the tools: every argument in the track, laid out so you can find the one claim you would refuse.
Before you start. Logic, Truth & the Limits of Reason gave you two checks on any argument. Its shape is valid when the conclusion has to follow if the premises are true; it is sound when it is valid and the premises really are true. This lesson uses only that, plus whichever of the track’s other lessons you have read: each exercise below says which one it comes from, and tells you the argument again in two lines, so you can do it cold.
