OIDC - the Passport & the Stamp-Book
parent: The Badge Machine - IRSA end to end

One passport office, one photocopy of its stamp at every border, and what is actually written inside the passport.
Before you start. In The Badge Machine - IRSA end to end, a program in one account showed a signed slip to another account and got a short-lived pass back, and nobody looked at what the slip said. This lesson looks inside the slip. The one thing to carry in from Cryptography Foundations: a private key can sign a message so that a public key can prove afterward that nobody touched a single character of it.
